01 Jun Rhonda+Todd|Denver Engagement Session
Last week I got to meet and photograph Rhonda & Todd for their engagement session. They booked us over the phone and I had not yet met them. It was great to roam around the downtown Denver and chat about their wedding day details. Since most of our clients work the 9-5 daily grind, most of our sessions start around 6-7 PM in the summer time. Not a problem since that is usually the best light of the day anyways. Plus you never know what kind of sunset shot you are going to get. Well, the clouds really started rolling in around when the sun was going down. I didn’t think we would get the pretty red, golden sunset, but the clouds were dramatic so I knew we could have some fun with off camera lighting. I asked them to see if we could get on top of a parking garage deck at the end of the session. They both agreed and I love the last couple of shots that we got. She even climbed up on that pillar in high heels. So looking forward to their wedding day.
