29 Jun Stanley Hotel Wedding|Lauren & Daniel
There are so many great venues in Colorado to have a wedding. The Stanley Hotel is probably the most historic place in Colorado to get married. Several movies have been filmed there, The Shinning and Dumb and Dumber are probably the most famous movies that were done there. Estes Park is a charming town and with the Rocky Mountain National Park at your doorstep there are so many things for your guests to do during their time there. Lauren and Daniel had there wedding in June at the Stanley Hotel. That was the first day of the High Park Fire that started just west of Fort Collins. You can see in one of the photos how big the smoke is. There are so many fires through out Colorado right now, it’s sad to see. We have had no rain and temps in the high 90’s and 100’s non stop. We need rain so bad. Even with the fire going on behind the Stanley, we had nothing but blue skies and a slight breeze that keep the smoke away from their wedding day. Lauren and Daniel are nothing but a barrel of fun, their laughter is infectious and we had a blast on their wedding day. Lauren and Daniel had the band Raising Cainat their reception, which kept the people on the dance floor all night. Check out their website and listen to their music. LOVE IT.
