It’s been a while since I have photographed for fun and personal reasons. A great friend our and photographer Dawn Gioia has the cutest little girl named Poppy. Miss Poppy just melts your heart with cuteness and smiles. I met Dawn and Poppy about 2 years ago and have quickly become great friends with their family. Dawn actually photographed the birth of our daughter in January and captured it beautifully. Dawn called me last week and asked if I wanted to photograph Poppy in her new boots and dress she got for her birthday. I have always told Dawn “I want to photograph your child”. Seems between her business and our business there is never enough time. Of course I jumped at the chance and asked Dawn if we could try some new locations that I had seen and wanted to try out. So much fun with Poppy who did a fantastic job. The only bad thing was that the wind was so bad yesterday, but we made do and came out with some great shots.
