09 Aug Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding Photography|Lauren & Grayson
The Denver Botanic Gardens is such a beautiful place to have a wedding. I haven’t been there in a couple of years and they have made so many incredible changes to the park. Lauren & Grayson got married there last month and it just happened to be Colorado’s monsoon season with thunderstorms on and off the whole day. It rained on and off on their wedding day. The rain came right before the ceremony, after the ceremony, and barely during the reception. While it was slightly raining during the receptions, I went out to photograph a couple of HDR photos. An HDR photo is taking anywhere from 5-9 photos are various camera settings and combining them into one photo. The main photo on the post is an HDR photo and I love it. Think I will have to play with this technique more often.

Family and friends are important to Lauren and Grayson and they opted not to have the music, dancing, for their wedding. They had a beautiful area of tables set up next to the reflection pond for dinner. They also had a dessert table full of various cakes that were to die far. Lauren’s mom made 4 of the cakes.
