The last wedding of the year for Kammi and I we photographed Katie & Austin’s December wedding in Fort Collins. What a way to end the year with a beautiful couple, an incredible outdoor ceremony, and surrounded by family and friends. Since the cold winter months do not provide a whole lot of day light, they decided to see each other before the ceremony. Katie’s father wanted to present his daughter to Aaron in a traditional manner before we began the photos. What a touching moment to document. I love tender moments like this when a bride and groom see each other for the first time. I scouted locations a week before the ceremony and emailed them a photo of the location. Although Katie was wanted snow on her wedding day, I couldn’t have been happier of the mild weather we had and the location we picked. As you can see by the header in our blog, I love the dramatic photo that we captured of Katie. Congrats Katie & Aaron.
